Microsoft Canadian Partner Sharegate establishes partner alliance with JCC Consultancy

Hi all,

On December 1st,  Microsoft Canadian partner Sharegate and Microsoft Dutch partner JCC Consultancy have established their partner alliance by signing a partnership agreement. With this agreement, JCC Consultancy will be a partner for Sharegate to sell their SharePoint Online and On-premise Migration tools and solutions to the Dutch Microsoft partners and end customers in the Netherlands.

JCC Consultancy update: First day Microsoft Office 365 Summit in Toronto Canada

Hi everyone,

Having visited the SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas last march (go here for my blog on the event), the WPC Washington last July ( go here for blog on that event) and the Office 365 Drumbeat event in Cologne Germany (click here for blog on that event)  in April, this time JCC Consultancy will do Toronto, Canada.

It is 6.00 am in the morning in Toronto and i have been awake since 3.00 am, because of a jetlag. But hey no sweat, you just get up and go to the gym in the Hyatt Regency hotel, which is right in the middle of downtown Soho and near the Rogers stadium and work out.

After the workout i got the chance to pay a visit to the 24/7 store Rabba and bought some delicious Canadian Maple Syrup.

2 hours from now that is why JCC Consultancy is in Toronto and that is to attend the Microsoft Summit Office 365. The summit is taking place in the Allstream centre building.

This morning i had a breakfast meeting with Senior Channel Marketing Manager of Microsoft HQ to introduce JCC Consultancy and to talk about the Microsoft Non Managed SMB partners market in Canada.

I also met up with Olu Abikoye, Business Technology Systems & Project Delivery Analyst, Corporate Systems at Vision Critical.

After the breakfast, the keynote was kicked off by Jason Brommet, Director Partner Strategy Partners Microsoft Canada by telling that Microsoft new strategy to be a productivity and platform organization in a cloud and mobile ready world will impact the way partners are working. He also spoke about how Microsoft is going to help Microsoft partners to better transform their current business model and help them to save costs and realize more revenue and margins.

The most impressive session in my opinion was the one presented by IDC’s Channel and Alliances Research Darren Bibby. His session was called Business Partner Success in the Era of the Third Platform and showing what is really going in the market in Canada if it comes to opportunities and threats. Darren also gave some advice and tricks on how to become a succesful Cloud partner for your customers.

After all, this summit was definetely worth while for Microsoft to visit. Hopefully everyone also enjoyed the summit as I did today. For JCC Consultancy it has been a great day.

  • JCC Consultancy goes World Partner Conference in Washington: JCC Consultancy nam aan uitsluitend Executive sessies tijdens de Microsoft World Partner Conference 2014 in Washington van 12 juli tot en met 17 juli 2014 en zal een presentatie geven over de nieuwe Microsoft visie en strategie voor FY2015 en wat voor gevolgen het heeft voor de Microsoft partners wereldwijd.
  • Jean-Claude Chan heeft net als tijdens de SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas opnieuw een One-on One Executive meeting gehad met General Manager Office 365 en Yammer, Jared Spataro en Jay Sethna, Product manager Yammer. Tijdens deze roundtable zal ik insights delen met de deelnemers wat er is besproken over de SMB Partner market wereldwijd.

  • Daarnaast zal JCC Consultancy een presentatie geven over welke trends en ontwikkelingen binnen de SMB/MKB markt spelen en wat er in 2015 en 2016 gaat gebeuren binnen de Microsoft SMB wereld en welke nieuwe diensten beschikbaar zijn voor Microsoft MKB Partners wereldwijd. Hoe kun je als Microsoft MKB partner meer business binnenhalen en hoe zorg je ervoor dat je een duurzame cloud strategie opbouwt die ook winstgevend kan zijn?

  • Microsoft Non managed MKB Partner showcase: Tevens zal er een real showcase gepresenteerd worden van een Microsoft Non managed partner die bewust gekozen heeft om Managed partner te worden. Wat zijn de drijfveren geweest om de over stap te maken naar een Managed status en wat zijn de benefits en lessons learned geweest voor deze MKB partner?
  • Tijdens deze roundtable sessie horen Microsoft en JCC Consultancy graag wat de uitdagingen en knelpunten zijn van Microsoft Non managed MKB Partners als het gaat om Strategie, Sales, Marketing, Delivery en Executie en waar ze tegen aanlopen.
  • Verder zal JCC Consultancy de resultaten van de gehouden survey onder de 500 Microsoft Non managed MKB Partners presenteren en een interactieve discussie aangaan omtrent de cijfers.
