Last Thursday JCC Consultancy had a great conference call with Microsoft Canada about the challenges Microsoft Non Managed Partners are facing in Canada. As my company JCC Consultancy is specialized in helping, advicing, coaching, supporting Microsoft Non Managed Partners to hands-on execute their Cloud strategy, Sales and Marketing plans, Microsoft Canada is interested to hear from JCC Consultancy what her vision and approach is in terms of this Non Managed Partnes group.

Having said so, I was asked to attend the upcoming Microsoft Summit in Canada which will takes place in 4 cities, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. The summit will takes place from october 8th till october 16th.

In this panel session available to first time attendees (FTAs), you’ll hear from fellow partners who have attended WPC and been members of the partner community for 10+ years. They will share best practices and answer your questions.

I also met up with Microsoft Partner Sales Executive  from Canada , Alexander Cyr to talk about the CA market.

This year  Microsoft has decided to organize a special meeting for Microsoft First time Attendees and JCC Consultancy got involved with the Mentor program which means that I can help and advice first time attendees who need to find their way at the WPC event.

At this lunch meeting JCC Consultancy met up with First time attendee Mark Scott, Sales Director at Pyramid Analytics. Mark Scott has been working for Microsoft the last 10 years in the field of BI.

JCC CONSULTANCY GOES SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas

90% of Microsoft Unmanaged SMB Partners will not attend the SPC 2014 conference

Last December and January 2014, JCC Consultancy has conducted a survey among 500 Executives/Owners of Microsoft Unmanged SMB Partners in the Netherlands and one of the questions imposed was:

Are you going to attend the SPC 2014 Conference?  

90% answered: ” No, i will not attend the SPC 2014 Conference, but I do want to be updated with the latest developments and updates during the SPC conference”.

The result was an eye opener for us, but also a very interesting opportunity for JCC Consultancy,  because this figure shows that most of the attendees at the SharePoint Conference are mostly Microsoft Managed Partners and  not Unmanaged SMB Partners.

Naomi Moneypenny is CTO at Synxi (a ManyWorlds brand) where she leads the development team for the adaptive recommendations & machine learning engine for SharePoint and other social business systems such as Yammer. Internally at ManyWorlds, Naomi also has responsibility for the knowledge management process and infrastructure, including the company’s deployment of Office 365 and Yammer Enterprise. Prior to ManyWorlds, Naomi served as a senior business & IT strategist at the Royal Dutch/Shell Group. Naomi developed advanced business strategies for global business units and worked on overall Shell technology forecasts & knowledge management strategies. Before moving into the energy industry, Naomi was senior production editor at recognized blue chip business publisher, Euromoney PLC. There, while redesigning processes, she implemented one of Europe’s first Intranets, for which she won the U.K. Director’s Award.
